Candle Safety

While burning

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, curtains and anything that can catch fire.

Always place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts.

For glass jar candles, limit each burn to 2–3 hours. Extinguish the flame and allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.

Extinguishing

Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame. Never use water, and never move a candle while the wax is liquid.

End of life

Stop burning when about 1 cm of wax remains. Reuse or recycle the vessel once cleaned with warm soapy water.
